
Second wave of pandemic has seen some Oracle customers accelerate adoption and others address some business software application house cleaning
Oracle is introducing some new components to its Oracle Fusion Cloud Supply Chain & Manufacturing (SCM) application at its Oracle Live occasion today.
Presiding at the event will be Steve Miranda, executive vice-president, applications advancement, who leads Oracle applications development internationally.

Oracle said it has also included new logistics abilities to assist organisations plan and adapt to disruptions. These include Oracle Transport Management (OTM) machine learning abilities that it said assists customers to predict transit times properly, reduce expenses associated with unexpected delays, and boost logistics efficiency.
Another artificial intelligence function is Oracle IoT Fleet Monitoring, which is stated to enhance accuracy and provide expense savings by “applying feature-based artificial intelligence on OTM information to determine insights and anticipate transit times for prepared shipments”.
